I've just bought a replacement one. Hopefully that's the problem. Once it's on I'll jet wash it to see if there's any more oil.

looks like it's leaking where it bends from behind the engine.

Just had a closer look, got a bit of a turn on each bolt so hopefully that'll help but while I was there, I noticed the hose that goes to the oil breather from the back of the engine looks like it's leaking. Can't seem to find the hose on eBay though.

I replaced my vacuum pump a few weeks ago but didn't set the engine to TDC when refitting and it didn't seem to fit tightly to the engine and now it's leaking pretty badly from the gasket. With me not setting engine to TDC is there a chance the lobe didn't fit right leaving a gap between engine...

When you're buying an old Land Rover they're never going to be or never will be trouble free. I always expect to have to do some work, part of the fun. Love finding previous owner bodges and thinking 'what the f**k happened here'

I've tried, doesn't work! I've given up. All wiring looks fine fuse is fine don't know what else to do.

Maybe I've bought a calculator and that's why it's not working! I do. Would I be ok to wire it direct to the battery to test it?

It's a Casio and the one before was an alpine. It was working fine but now there's no power. I have checked all the wires and looked fine. I'll have another check though. Is it just 2 fuses, 1 fuse on the CD player and one in the fuse box in the car?

Stereo is brand new.

I had a CD player in for a while and it was working fine, took it out for some reason. Gone to put it back in and there isn't any power going to it. Tried 2 CD players and neither work. I've checked the fuse and all wiring is fine :confused: any suggestions? Cheers

That'll do me :D Thanks. I've got those 4 bolts in so I'll just ignore the other 2 holes. At least I didn't spend 2 hours lieing on a wet floor in the snow trying to figure out how to get bolts in the other 2 holes :rolleyes:

Yeah, I managed to get the 4 bolts in where the old tow bar was but there's 2 other holes nearer the diff that don't line up with anything :confused:

The lugs on the side don't line up with anything. I'll drill and tube the chassis next weekend I think. Only way I can see possible.

Same as this, you can see the holes on the side at the front.

Trying to fit my tank guard. I've got it fixed where the original tow bar goes but looks like I have to drill through the chassis to fix the other end. I Had a go but gave up as I can't feel my hands and it was pi**ing me off! If Anybody has fitted one and could give me some tips I'd much...
