    excessive roll, please advise

Cheers for all the replays guys. Robhew96, pushing down on the suspension, how much play, wobble should there be? just pushing gently with my hand on the bonnet and there is a slight dip (but surely that is just normal suspension doing its job). need to get underneath and have a look at the anti...

Hi folks, i have an early 2003 disco 2. recently i have noticed that there seems to be some excessive roll when driving, to the point that SWMBO is starting to get car sick on non motorway journeys. I replaced the airbags with coils last year but haven't touched the front. would replacing the...

    new fuel pump devistating mpg

ooooo, that got me worried! but i've had a really good check, smelt the oil cold and hot, and definitely no diesel smell there, phew. Had a good check over the engine and the tank end and no diesel seems to be leaking. So back to the drawing board.

    new fuel pump devistating mpg

At first i thought it was just the fuel gauge but i have done a couple of long trips now and kept a note of how much fuel i have used and the milage. and it is definitely using a lot more fuel than before. I will check the FPR, thanks.

    new fuel pump devistating mpg

Hi folks, i recently had to fit a new fuel pump to my 2003 disco. on the old one, i reckon i was getting about 30mpg however, since i've had the new one fitted my mpg has dropped to about 24-25. is this just a case of plugging in the ECU and tweeking something or is it a problem with the new...

    Td5 not starting

Has the engine been running ok recently? my fuel pump gave up 2 weeks ago. after a few days for missing and dropping power, one day she just didn't start. The call out guy turned on the ignition and opened the filler cap and said that you should be able to hear the pump running. Had it replaced...

What have you pulled with your discovery?

A ford KA with 2 front flats up hardknot pass (the owners had no breakdown and were quoted £500 just to get them down), so pulled them up to the first flat spot so they could change the wheels). No probs what so ever (aside from 4 cars waiting behind me, lol)

adding a strap for a short person

nooooooo! we have no more space for any more shoes (and i though landys were an expensive habit:eek:) besides, even in 6" heals (ooooo) she is still well below the average pigmy. like the idea of a folding step though and even more the idea of tree sliders, sorry, side steps.

adding a strap for a short person

Thanks for the quick replys. Redhand, mine has the airbag fitted so hasn't got a proper grab handle, just a bit of a ledge which isn't enough to get a good grip on.

adding a strap for a short person

Hi folks, i'm new here and already have a question for you. I have a 2003 disco and a very short girlfriend. I'm thinking of adding a strap to the passenger side front door/front window pillar to aid her entry into the car. i have found some straps at rock and road that are designed as defender...
