You can put a resistor in the wiring were the air bag plugs in test the wiring for resistance to work out the size resistor you need this will fool the srs into thinking the air bag is still plugged into the truck

Hi I've just fitted one to my d2 it's not to bad a job to do. You will need all of the difflock linkage off a d1 eg gear sticks down. D1 uses bars instead of cables. Will try to post some pictures of what you need to do the job. Well worth doing as now have difflock and traction control.

Changed sensor on td5 was fine for few miles then come up no voltage when insert it into the hub.

Ufton is a good lane long with a few gates and some bridges. There is a weight limit on the bridge over the disused rail way 3 tonnes so one at a time over that. When are you thinking of going?
