LandRover Defender 90 stolen TODAY from outside my house

I'd start at the garage that MOT'd it for you. It takes away all your trust in human nature when your pride and joy gets stolen, and the items in it are irreplaceable. Feel for you mate. Hope there's some good news for you soon.

    Side lights

I had a similar problem when I put reversing bleep bulbs in. My computer told me I didn't have any action in that area. I put the car in reverse with just the ignition on and checked physically. and lo and behold! it was right, I didn't have reversing lights! needless to say the friggin' bulbs...

    ABS problems

Hi StuRox. Had exactly the same anoying 'abs fault' on the dash until today when it disappeared after changing the pads. Not saying this is your problem but it might be a cheap fix if you were to examine your pads best of luck.

    P38 Rear brake pad replacement

Just replaced my front and rear pads today. Bit of a job but happy with the results, except.....handbrake is still very high. pumped and pumped but still no joy. Anyhow, I used a rag to soak up any overspill from the reservoir when pushing the pistons back in. No sweat, worked a treat just like...

How do you sync the key fob please?

Funny this should be mentioned.... I have the same annoying fault when my splitXXse wife fails to lock her door. Due to central locking fault if the car isn't secured properly it goes into engine immobilisation. Without a working fob it's impossible to clear the message and the car won't start...

    Tarting it up

Not long had my P38, couple of weeks in fact, so I thought I'd tart it up a bit. New chrome badges on the rear, stripped some old gunk off the cubby, sent for a window switch burr walnut cover to match the rest. Couldn't believe it when it arrived! It was just the window switch strip when I...

    P38 Headliner.

Ferenc, I had the same problem in the load area with my P38 when I bought it a couple of weeks ago. Despite the cold I untrimmed and pulled the lining off to where it was still stuck. Then I used spray adhesive for laying carpet tiles and waited for it to go tacky. Result! And you wouldn't know...
