    Ashcroft used to get there boxes from whitehouse!! Mine managed 750 miles before being rebuilt again ( I dealt direct with whitehouse for the rebuild) in all honesty wouldn't bother with another series box would try and fit something a bit stronger!

    Had a good spray round with brake cleaner and doesn't seem to have any air leaks, replaced the valley gasket with new genuine anyway to rule it out

    Must admit we are planning to try the disco 2 rear end and if it proves to hang us up a lot we will retrofit the a frame, as you say it's a lot of work I would rather not do but if we have to we will! Would be really interested to see any short cuts!

    I've got one of them transfer boxes I think they come off the 3 speed Range Rover boxes? If anyone wants it make me an offer, Yep will be at Sewell tomorrow haven't trialled in a while so prob be a nice high score!! If your planning on building a Trialer I'd give yourself at least a year...

    The old man does love a tidy up!! It's got a 4.6 running gems management, I'm not a big fan of distributors or carbs!! It an auto meaning rear prop is pretty short! I'm in chiltern vale and have been for about 14 years!!

    Hi hope you don't mind me asking but what have you used to make your spats (tyre covers)?? My dad and I are currently building a Trialer and are getting to the point where we need to start thinking about this problem, we have also used disco 2 axles so big spats are a must!

    A 90" that's complete luxury!! Try an 80" did a weeks laning in Wales slept in it every night!!
