i have had the same with my td5, i fitted new sensors and had it all checked over only to be told by an independant that up to an inch out of level is nothing to worry about so i havent worried about it since, some days it sits level, others it doesnt.

thanks guys, thats solved the dilemna, new tyres for the rear then replace fronts later, no point swapping over front to rear.

can anyone tell me wether the rear or front tyres generally wear faster on a TD5, i have not had to fit a new set of tyres yet, the rears are more worn than the fronts but dont know wether this is down to rear wearing faster as i didnt pay much attention to the wear levels when i bought the car...

If the pump is whining it is fairly likely that there is air getting into the pump somehow so you may have a slight leak on the feed pipe to the pump or the pump itself may be a bit past it.

Dont know what year/spec yours is but i had the same problem a while ago, changed screen and then found out ti was the aircon drains blocked which then causes all the water created by the aircon to come into the car through the lowest air vents which are the ones either side of the centre...

Its probably a bit of an airlock in your heater matrix, put control to cold before starting engine from cold. make sure coolant level is good. Run engine up to warm then switch heater to hot, this should then quickly flow water through the matrix and flush out the air with a bit of luck.
