Sorry my mistake didn’t realise they were part of the bumper

No lamps in the bumper facelift model , someone said only takes 15 minutes to take bumper off might just pull the fuse and reverse properly

Will have to take bumper off , unfortunately can’t get my fat hands anywhere near sensors

Ok had no problems with the landie after it’s hic cup ( no power and all instrument lights on ) but way before that rear parking sensors continuous bleep when reverse selected no flashing light on switch. Checked for clicking on sensors all seem ok I’ve changed ECU still the same anyone got any...

Done about 30 mile today stopping and starting no problems , maybe it was a loose battery connection cleaned all terminals before refitting ??? Thanks for all the replies

Not posted for a while the landie been behaving herself until this weekend. Drove 1 mile to our local supermarket and all of a sudden lost power and every light on Instrument panel came on managed to get to car park but car stalled , battery seemed flat got a jump start got home on limp home...

Hope some one can give me some advice need prop shaft support bearings changing on the Freelander , so far had very different estimates £150- £300 . Always done my own maintenance but at 68 a bit to much to do on Drive now . Has anyone had them done and what price thanks in advance for info

finally got the broken glow plugs removed by a garage in Hinckley Leicester, Who are specialists at seized plugs and injectors.( midlanddieselsolutions.co.uk.) Work done :- Remove broken glow plugs numbers 2 and 4 cylinders. £157.50 Remove seized glow plugs number 1and 3...

I've used Rimmer very good and parts came quick , but mainly use Craddocks just because down the road order on line and pick up I find them very helpful

Managed to get the two out without snapping them . at least it starts a bit better

No not easy outs these are glow plug electrode removal kits for 8mm and 10 mm glow plugs ,going to change the other 2 and see how it goes has long as they don't snap Thanks for reply's

Hi all got two snapped glow plugs on freelander 1 TD4 ( BMW engine) . does head have to be taken off or can I use the drill kits I've seen on eBay. anyone used these kits and how easy are they use thanks for any assistance

Hi all happy new year . Just come to change my glow plugs on the Freelander td4 it looks like someone else has had a go and stripped the hexagon part on 2 plugs , anyone got any idea's how to get them out without removing head and drilling them out .Thanks in advance for any advice
