Yeh it gets really gritty around that area. You should notice a very defined 'click' when it properly sits home. It's easy to think it's on when it's not.

Yeh I had to put new slide pins on mine as well, most of them had seized up. Depending on how the next pay cheque looks I might replace all the discs. They've only a 1000 miles if that but grooved and drilled was a bad idea for a mud machine. Oh well, you live and learn. Glad you're getting...
