hi,i have an L reg 200tdi disco and was wondering if 300tdi injectors will fit as my local scrappy has 7 300tdi's and 0 200tdi's,these injectors are £10 a set if i remove them myself,just trying to build up some spares for a re-build so anything else that would fit would be great.

200 TDI is the best option,300tdi's blow piston rings!!!

sorry the heater matrix is part of the water cooling system and therfore always has water at the temp of the engine,the heater control,hot/cold only flips between blowing air through the matrix and bypassing the matrix it has nothing to do with the coolant level!!!

ok hi all, just got my disco MOT'D but it overheated on the way home,i stopped and let it cool down(it was 25c outside)so i drained the water out and flushed the rad and heater matrix with a pressure washer,filled it back up with water+anti-freeze mix making sure that there was no air left in...

ahh ha,i see,so to be tax free you cant do a lot to a car(i used to have a mk1 escort with a new body shell and a 2.1pinto in it it was originally an 1100 and it was tax exempt),so conformity is not an issue to me!!,i just want something different now that im all grown up(divorced)LOL
