    Need replacement chrome swivel balls!

you say the abs ring was stopping it be carefull its not the abs sensor thats stopping you. pull the sensor up out of the top pin first or you might damage it. the abs ring is part of the c v joint and should slide out with the rest of the axel easy enough.

    Leaking swivel hubs?

what worked for me to tighten the ball joint nut was to get a prybar and put one end under axel casing and across the top of the track rod and press down as you tighten the nut. might be a good idea to get a friend to help with using the prybar or the spanner as trying to do both together can be...

    Leaking swivel hubs?

you need to find out why that seal failed. no point in just replacing seal. if its the swivel ball thats pitted seal will fail again soon and if its the swivel pin bearing replacing the seal wont stop the leak and your bearing will fall apart soon.

    Leaking swivel hubs?

it can also be a sign of worn swivel pin bearings. this happened to mine. the ball was fine just needed new bearings. full rebuild of the swivel just didnt need a new ball.
