Lol no it's not got a distributor, lol tbh I know what a CPU is but not a distributor, mainly as I've never had to come across it :-) thank you very much tho ill check the connections if there a bit loose or mucky it could stop the signals couldn't it?? I know I sound a bit vague an I'm sorry...

It's an 02 reg, erm sorry I don't actually know if it has a distributor. What would I be looking for in the engine?

Thank you very much, is it possible to test the cps or just easier to put a new one on?? I was thinking the engine had time to cool, but the temp gage never went above the norm half way. Would this still be a dodgy cps?
