I've not had chance to do any work on the landy, take one day off and end up with a mountain of parcels to shift lol. Anyway so far it's not broke down since sat. I've kept the revs under 3 thou at all times, but what I've also now noticed is water coming in a small trickle outta the exhaust . Is this normal? Xx

Oh and when I went under the bonnet earlier to check my water level I also notice the garage never put my heat shield back on the exhaust manifold when they replaced the manifold, is this a bad thing lol? An figuring it wouldn't have had one in the first place if it wasn't needed. Thank you all agai. For any advise :)

Thank you to everyone for your help, the cars now got a new expansion tank fitted and a new petrol cap and I've not had a problem since. Don't know which was the fault lol, I had forgotten my petrol cap had fallen apart and wasn't sealing it properly when it was locked :) xx tho I'm going to get the car fully serviced Roland all the filters changed just to be sure there no blockage.

did you get this sorted at all ?

as my other halfs has just done the same tonight ( can't verify the REV counter bit, bit everything else)

cheers
