The Fluid is well above the max mark, once the engine has started and the pump has switched off. The sensor doesn't actually touch the Brake Fluid so am a little confused on how it works.

Sorry, Low Brake Fluid Level, I don't think it has a brake fluid pressure fault read out. Is it worth bleeding the brakes again if it is a pressure issue? will this help becuase the brake warning lamp is still on.

I checked the voltage at the Battery when the engine was running was only 12v present, I unplugged the Brake Fluid Sensor the engine spluttered very slighty and the voltage went back up to 13.8v. I then plugged the sensor back in, Voltage remaind at 13.8 but now I get low brake fluid pressure...

Ok done the test again and sure enough when the engine was hot I could stop the fan. Did you say there was a mod to use the a/c fans, I might use this as a tempoary solution although to be honest here in Essex we have no hills so think only traffic will cause the fans to come on.
