Hello,

Can anybody tell me what tools are needed to replace the viscous fan and water pump?
What type of problems should I be aware of?

Thanks

Mike.

Sorry, can't offer much help, but will be watching this thread caefully as planning on changing my Fan this weekend (weather permitting of course)

you will need either a viscous fan spanner /chisel, lump hammer to strike the spanner/chisel with to undo the fan its got opposit thread on it. a long bar to release tension on the fan belt, 10 mm socket and ratchet to undo water pump pulley and the water pump its self, i done mine the other day start to finish it can be done in a hour easily

Depending on Engine (Petrol or Diesel) I think the Petrol is a Left Hand Thread, but the Diesel is a Right Hand Thread....IIRC
