It's will get better don't worry! I've just plopped a whole new engine in and I'm still having trouble. Things leaks, stuff breaks, others tuff wears out.... all because of that badge. But it's a small price to pay for driving a fender!

Tomorrow I collect my younger 200tdi engine and disco box. Hoping its just a simple case of changing the selector to make it fit into a fender. My current disco 200tdi has worn rings and is burning oil after 210k on the clock.

My old girl seems to be smoking a lot of oil. If I hold it on a bit of revs not under load it burns blue. And if I come of the throttle slightly it burns blue. And while cold. Is this piston rings?? Or valve guides maybe ? Otherwise loving my new exhaust and cb radio :)
