i have a very optimistic fuel gauge that always says i have a full tank, i have checked the float and it is not stuck. anyone got any idea what is going on? thanks Ben:) should add that the gauge does return to empty when the ignition is off

jumped in my ex mod 109 this morning, it's a 2.5 na engine. bump started it as usual due to having a dodgy starter solenoid, she fired up then stopped *(couple of seconds). there is diesel in it, there is power to the solenoid on the pump, and there is diesel up to the filter. the only thing...

not had chance to strip it yet, but i'm guessing it's a knackered output seal on the transfer box? is it likely to be much hastle to change? are the seals available? cheers Ben:)
