    Locking wheel nut key

Sweet cheers trev. Gstuart I suppose they would have to charge an as minimum but they didn't stock any locking keys for the freelander and had to order them in.. I like to work on my own vehicles (I own 2 series 3's as well). I hate the thought of paying out for someone to do a simple task like...

    Locking wheel nut key

Cheers irishrover. I can buy the special socket which will take the nut off and replace with standard nuts but was hoping to find a stamp on the vehicle or in the handbook somewhere with the code on it so I could just keep the locking nuts I have now. You would think Land rover would have it on...

    Locking wheel nut key

Hi people, I've got a w reg l series freelander with the 15" alloys. I neglected to check to see if the locking wheel nut key was in the vehicle when I bought it. It wasn't. I need to replace the hand brake cables so need to take the wheels off. Is there anyway to find out which letter key I...

    2.0 L series noise

It seems the noise is only when the vehicle is on the move and under load.

    2.0 L series noise

Lol. It seems to only make that noise changing through the gears when accelerating. I'll try the engine off test tomorrow. Same sound as the one I get on my series when the front UJ starts to deteriorate. Maybe UJ? Don't know much about these freelanders. Too new for me! Hehe.

    2.0 L series noise

Hi people, been a member for a few years now and frequented the series and defender forums. Just recently bought a w reg Freelander station wagon for my forestry work. I needed a comfy ride for the long distances and also something that had 4x4. I really wanted to not like it but it has not got...

    newbie with a dilema!

A mate of mine bought an s reg 1.8 with 48000 miles for £1200. And I've just picked up w reg l series diesel for £1300 with full service history and receipts. Just to give you an idea of price. £2800 with out history seems pricey to me. Especially for the petrol.
