    I'm running both a 2.5 p38 and a d3 . In my opinion the p38 is better . As in , I'm more confident I can fix most things on the range rover on my drive . And it's just nicer to be in but it is an auto .

    Got my p38 started today , yeeharrr !! Sunday the key fob no worky , alarm keep going off -Mrs brung the spare out , all good . Got home , got nanocom out to disable eka and immobilizer , then no start , NO turning over , no dash lights .nothing !! Two days of trying to get the bleeder started...

    New front prop in . Gear selector bits straightened out . Job jobbed . The heat shield , sound proofing bit was toast !

    Today , I was mostly waiting for recovery after my front prop broked . I think it's whacked the gear box selector aswell !

    Got stuck trying to pull a slitty + trailer out of a wet hole . Got myself pulled out by a defenderer - left the slitty !

    I had my blend motors changed because one of the three was stuck . When I looked inside the stuck one it was stuck in a big old lump of grease . I still wonder if I should have tried forcing that motor from the plug on the hevac unit ? Might be worth doing the o-rings on the heater pipes while...

    No problems , other than getting through batterys a bit quick . Same as her other toys !

    Be careful with the graphite powder . If you're a sausage fingered oaf you can fill the lock with powder , then the key will not go in !

    Yes , she's still got her baby . Not had any issues , we've both just had new batterys . Hers was the original one 3 years old , mine on the p38 had lasted 10 !

    If you still think the battery is good , get it to a garage and have a load test done .
