I did ask @Mark Piercy when I was away but got mixed up with the name and asked about you, Eastern Europe so you could be next.:eek::eek::D
I spoke to him today, he's in the Caribbean somewhere. It was 12.30 here and 7am ish there. He is in quarantine until next week and then onto his new job. Nice.

That was fun.

Took a good few minutes per side, due to them being seized tighter than a ticks arse, so with a bit of hammer action then came out eventually.

P38 picked up my 19' SeaWych from Scarborough Harbour. Made STUPID decision to trailer it back to Beverley with mast on. Came off worse with an "interaction" with a tree branch. The stainless steel rigging then brushed the immaculate paintwork of an AUDI TT travelling in the opposite direction. Mr Plod very helpful. Mercifully, no danger to life or limb. Gutted to find that my SORNed XC90 has the protected NCD, but P38 doesn't. WTF!

Got stuck trying to pull a slitty + trailer out of a wet hole .
Got myself pulled out by a defenderer - left the slitty !
Clearly showing my ignorance here, but I have spent many happy hours pleasuring slitties that are beautiful entrances to wet holes.... Please eduficate me as to what t'other "slitties" are! ¦~}

So you live in Beverley?
Lovely place.:):):)
When we lived in Hull my dad worked there, accountant in Melrose Tanners.
My great uncle who won the Belgian Croix de guerre has his name on a monument in the Minster. Or the roll of honour, can't remember now.:rolleyes:
Hope you are all sorted out after your mishap. What a sh!t! :(:(:(
