    Rear wheel arch panel

Thanks for your quick response. It s not the liner I am referring to.It ‘s the metal panel that meets the Cill .It’s situated behind the rear door.I will have to cut the section out I need with a grinder

    Starting problem

My L322 2004 4.4 after running perfectly suddenly developed a slight whining noise after starting up.With a 3 mile journey home , I wasn't unduly alarmed and decided to investigate when I got home. After listening to the engine with the bonnet up on tick over, I decided to switch the engine off...

Well well well not impressed so far :(

Similar thing happened with my L322.The day after i bought it and having been stood on the drive all day ,it wouldn't start.I changed the battery for a new one and it's been right as rain ever since. RSW ALL Comms ??

I received my mk111 all comms system from RSW. It was very simple to install and i'm no computer expert. The package is very comprehensive and it cleared several faults straight away.It also highlighted a problem with one of the steering column motors which hopefully will be a simple fix. Good...

    Steering column movement restriction.

I have a L322 2004 4.4 petrol RR. It 's developed a longtitudinal movement problem on the steering column. There is slight movement ,so i know the motors not burnt out and it's probably been caused through lack of use. I'm hoping that a simple fix with someWD 40 on the mechanical assembly be it...

    RSW ALL Comms ??

HI Hippo i've just ordered one of these systems and it was picked up by customs. I have had to pay a further £28.78 to get it delivered and pay the custom clearance charges. Still it should be worthwhile and i'm looking on it as a good investment .It arrives on Sat 14th Jan.

    Brake failure

Ok the outcome of the brake investigation that has been carried out today confirm that my suspicions were correct.Woefully cheap and nasty pads, discs would see out another set of pads but are showing a lip on the outer edge. So a brake fluid change with new discs and top quality pads being...

It's going in this week for a thorough brake inspection and overhaul so hopefully any problems will be sorted out.I think the water absorbtion theory is odds on favourite. Still thanks for all your advice and i'll keep you posted with the outcome next week. Kind regards Snapcap.

    Brake failure

Yes a definite Gypsys warning and not one to be repeated, i got away with it this time, with a damaged tyre when i hit the roundabout at the bottom and went straight over the top of it. Fortunately it was early morning with nothing on the road.Lesson learnt.

    Brake failure

Sorry guys , it's a RR 4.4 petrol 2004. The brakes initially engaged and the RR started to slow down , there was no excessive travel on the pedal but complete fading of stopping power.Once i let the system cool down(and chaged my pants) everything seemed normal.
