Yes the light works fine on constant on but not altered by any of the doors opening which I know works off the 10as and seeing as I have a red engine light on I didn’t know whether they would go hand in hand with a faulty 10as?

Sorry I can't add anything to help but I'm keen to see if you are able to sort it as I have exactly the same problem and symptoms as yourself. It will clear and stay off for a few drives and then come on when the ignition is turned on???

I would say as hes rebuilt it and has the scrap bulkhead for sale - in his other items he has a dented wing that he has replaced and a rear door that he is selling as hes turning it into a rag top! I would say nothing dodgy at all.

I cant understand these comments - i think the puma engine is a million time more pokey on the road than a ropey old TD5 that needs its tits revving off to get going especially with a trailer. The puma is even better if it is remapped - I would prefer a tdi or a puma over a TD5 anyday!!!

Did you get this sorted? Mine was the same after i changed the timing belt - started and ran well but smoked on overrun until at working temperature. I just advanced the pump timing slightly and i lost all the smoke and it made it go even better.
