I have an ex MOD defender 90 soft top and have bought myself a new PVC tilt/hood. Does anyone know if I will need to change the Hood windscreeen rail or will the original one work with the PVC hood? Cheers

I just don't have the time (or inclination) to do it myself so will have to pay. So the price would be to supply and fit a 200Tdi and all of the necessary ancillary components. Any names of companies doing this who you would recommend would be appreciated.

Considering replacing my great but sluggish 2.5 NA diesel with a 200TDi, and having it done professionally. Any ideas what is likely to be the total price to supply and fit?

Filling my defender with Diesel takes for ever. All diesel pumps seem to behave as if the tank is full and I have to hold the fuel trigger/lever in a certain postition to get any fuel to go in. Any ideas to as what the problem is?

can you remember what brand it was, I know you said you bought it from paddocks. There seems to be two types, one which is scured by a latch on the bottom mount ( I think this will hit the lights when open)and the second which seems to go right across the tailgate and secured on the left...

Hi Guys, regarding the question of the swing away wheel carrier, are your 90's ex MOD soft tops or just soft tops. reason is the feedback I am getting from a couple of manufacturers is that they won't fit without taking off bumperettes and they can't be sure about the non standard lights.

I am considering fitting a swing away spare wheel carrier to my 1992 ex Mod defender 90 soft top. Has anyone done this successfully and easily. if so which one/Make? My concerns are the position of the rear lights and the bumperettes. since and elbow operation I am finding lifting the bonnet...
