Sounds like fuel starvation to me. Check for leaks, I have had to replace all my fuel feed and return lines (and the in tank pump due to the leaking). Pain in the arse as I only need petrol to start on b4 switching to LPG. When you switch on the ignition you should hear the in tank pump...

Hi Stu I had a similar problem with my 93RRC, there would be clonking when on full lock and would be a right pig to get into car parking spaces (and out of sainsburys !) Thought it might be CV joint so changed the drivers side as that appeared to be where the noise was coming from. But...

Finally got around to replacing the CV joints andd oing the swivel seals while i'm down there. Was going along fine but now have a major problem. The bottom swivel pin torx screws are siezed and wont budge, have twisted my driving bit beyond recognition (Halfords will replace of course lol)...

Stripped the dizzy at work and found that the springs on the centrifugal advance had come off, everthing else is OK:) Have just finished rebuilding it and ready to put it back in. Only problem is that the spindle rotated when it was pulled up and could be 60 degrees out as the centrifugal...

Just put some tube on the vacuum advance and sucked it and all it does is pull air through, it doesn't hold vacuum and doesn't move. So it looks like this needs replacing at least :( Haven't got any small circlip pliers so that'll have to wait tomorrow, got plent at work for putting turbos...

:confused: As part of the ongoing maintenance I got a new distirbutor cap and rotor arm (RTC3197 & STC1857). When changing the rotor arm the old on pulled up a a cm or so, so when I put the new arm on I just pushed it back down. Fitting the cap was a right pig as it didn't seem to fit properly...

Over weekend planning to do both front CV joints, and replace all pads front & rear and of course power bleed. So i'll be winding all the pistons in. Hopefully it will behave then. :)

There is no servo vacuum hoses as its ABS.
