long time!! your gearbox mounts will have to move back in that case rob....either that or bring the whole lot towards the front. either way it's not easy. The bellhousing on a disco is longer than the defender.. I'd get searcing for a decent LT77 or start saving the £400ish for a recon box...

ere Rob, yours is just a bit of a heavy breather, take the breather tube off the oil cap and put your hand over the hole. seal it with your mit so no air can get out...leave for a few seconds and take your hand away...you'll hear a psshh of air...this is the preassure. to be honest I've seen...

what you have there is a N/A 90...not a defender....it's a bit like putting those dodgy 16v letters on the back of a robin reliant :o I't been painted by a blind man on a budget... sorry to sound harsh but for the money you could pick up a turbo or even a tdi at a push ;)

right strongly thinking of getting rid of the defender soon and buying a disco II. Could you guys give me some advice on what to look out for?? also any issues with reliability??? I know this is a can of worms but I'm thinking of spending 11K and I want to make sure it's the right choice..

hmm, Mines run of a separate circut but the relay is powered by the sidelights feed, meaning you've got the option for spots on sidelights(dont know why), dipped and mainbeam. The dipped option is the best coz i've found that mainbeam leaves a dark patch right in front of the car which is crap...
