I have fitted 5 fan belts in 5000 miles, checked alternator seems to run freely and no bearing wear,no wear on water pump ,I have fitted both widths and they both shredd . Any ideas or experiences ?

Just had the top UJ replaced and the lower steering shaft seemed to fall apart ,is this normal or are these rubbers bonded to the metal do I require a new steering shaft .

I have a Defender 90 and have been running 235/85/16 tyres and have just purchased two 750/16 tyres can I run with eg 750/16 on the front axle and 235/85/16 on the rear axle with no problems ? I have been informed they are virtually the same size .

I have been offered another can't see any differences but the identification numbers are different. The numbers are 29 M18650A and 40 M09467A can anyone confirm these would be suitable for fitting to my 1992 90 200 TDI ?

Having looked at the upgrade axle don't seem to see any problems that may arise in the fitting and does come with radius arms ,hopefully someone can confirm the fitting . Thanks for your reply .

Hi ,recently fitted a 2006 TD5 rear axle to my 1992 Defender 200tdi with no problems . Up for sale is a 2011 TDCI Front Axle and included Radius arms would this Axle be a problem to fit with modifications and if so what would be required ? Hopefully someone has done this conversion and can...

Hi,been offered a Wolf Chassis for to replace the chassis on my 1989 Defender 90 . Noticed a few differences ,but would this be a feasible swap ,what problems may I encounter and has many Landy owners done this swap as haven't heard anyone mention . Comments please .

I have dismantled one side and it only has one hub bearing locking nut ,maybe make it easier to identify ?

Finally purchased a Rear Axle thought to be a 2006 from a TD5 but want help to identify and make sure the information I have is correct .

Good question Litch ,what I have been told was that the axle came from a 2006 TD 5 and didn't specify 90/110. But what I have done was checked the part no on the brake caliper and was for a 90 . What would the difference be between a 110 axle and a 90 and if it was a 110 can it be fitted ?
