    Heater Matrix Cleaning

its a 200TDI that I put into an ex MOD 90. I think the heat exchanger part must be full of silt as it does not get very hot!

    Heater Matrix Cleaning

My heater is not very efficient and after having to jet wash the radiator and Allard intercooler following a dunking in the quarry I am suspect that the heater is probably filled with silt as well. Any guides on how to get at it and clean it all up?

    Rear Axle Oil Leak

Just a quick update, the leak was indeed the hub oil seal failing. However it was caused by the half shaft end being so grooved that it just ripped the seal apart. So one new half shaft and a seal later and its sorted. Only cost me £80 to do the lot so not too horrible. Sorted the track rod...

    Rear Axle Oil Leak

Came to MOT the Landy yesterday and the rear nearside brakes are covered in EP oil that appears to have leaked out of the axle. Whats this likely to be?

00KK53 - My Soft Top 12v GS TUL 90. So a soft top 90 then......

It's a military offence not a civilian one and its perfectly legal for a civvie to be in possession of spent blank cartridge cases. The offence is in removing unfired rounds. You can buy blank shell cases at all sorts of gift shops as key rings etc.

    MIG welding kit - advice

I have a Thermal Arc multi mode inverter welder that does MIG/TIG/ARC and its amazing. None of the issues of a transformer welder and gives really nice welds in all positions. I also have a Migmate 130 and its terrible in comparison. I keep it rigged for quick stainless jobs like fixing...

    Military/Civvy Trailer Power Sockets

The military electrics go in the hole on the rear crossmember to the RHS of the NATO hitch. I left mine where it was when I put the Dixon drop bar on just add a standard power socket to the drop bar mounts. I then use a NATO hitch on a drop plate so I can change the hitch to suit between our...

Which is exactly what mine was doing before the glow plug swap.

    200Tdi cold starting problem

All of mine were knackered and still the light glowed. I think the light is wired from the timer solenoid not from the actual 12V on the pugs.

    200Tdi cold starting problem

I know I will get shot down by the 'I don't have them/ they don't need them brigade' but.... I similar problems on mine and it turned out all the glow plugs had failed. £12 later and its starts without problem in the coldest of weather.
