After having a new crossmember fitted today (thanks Clive) it came to light my back box is well and truly shagged. For a 200TDi, what options are there for changing the exhaust without much modification, none if possible.

Have been reading tonight and found various answers - use a 19J exhaust rear with a straight through mid-section (one silencer) - anyone know if this is viable? Other then that I read that a late 300TDi rear section with no silencer can be joined to the standard 200TDi mid-section?

Really after getting a bit more flow but not overly loud, don't want to change it only to find it's made the engine flatter - goes like stink at the moment with the standard set up, maybe that's a sign...:p Anyone offer their experiences? Ta.

I used a 200tdi stainless middle & made a side exit back box but you will need a welder, blue tack or some double sided sticky tape. :D You could bolt a 200 or 300 back box, it's up to you.

I am using the 19J silencer with the mid section removed on my 200TDi. No extra noise but seems to spin the turbo up faster.
