Having read a previous thread on **** low end power on a L series, I took my MAF out and had a butchers, on the sensor there are 2 sets of metal forks and a picture of a resistor, is there actually supposed to be a resistor here or is that for upgrades.:confused:

My airbag warning is saying not connected, and the horn don't work from the steering wheel. A mate mentioned an airbag rotary control unit would this be my problem, and if so are they easy and cheap to replace. Also anyone got any dash vents (x2) for a 2000 model they want shut of, ive got two...

Had same problem with mine, found out there was a bolt sheared on the rear crossmember, new bolt no noise .

nah, Ive got the steering wheel with all the switches , its the adaptor to go in the back of the cd player which enables the switches to work with a non landy radio

Anyone know where I can get a steering wheel control adaptor to fit an Alpine CD player on a 2000 freelander, all the websites I find only list from 2001 onwards and halfords aint no use to man nor beast

Diff mount bushes were worn so changed them, still no change,:( cv seems solid enough:confused: :confused: :confused:

I know this has probably been done to death, but Im new to these parts and havent trawled through the pages as yet. I have a 2000 Freelander Xdi, and it makes a good awful knocking rattle noise which appears to be coming from somewhere by the OS rear wheel area, it only does it when easing off...
