Maf ?

Having read a previous thread on **** low end power on a L series, I took my MAF out and had a butchers, on the sensor there are 2 sets of metal forks and a picture of a resistor, is there actually supposed to be a resistor here or is that for upgrades.

L series ??? maf?

dint know they had em !

I do know the td4 has an air temp sensor built int the maf !

It ain't a TD4, so anyway whatever its called, is it supposed to have a resistor in it ??

Its the Air Flow Meter, apparently, anyone know if this is meant to have a resistor fixed to it, PLEASE

My low end power problems turned out to be worn tyres on the rear causing all of the available power to be used up by the Viscous coupling. The haynes manual shows two resistors on the wiring diagram. one on the orange and pink wire and one on the brown and pink.
