I had the same thing. Took of the grill undid all the horn contacts and cleaned them. Then i removed the horn unit and emery papered all the screws nuts and washers. Put back together and it works fine. Earth contact was the problem

I dont see the need to go to the trouble of a seperate battery unless you want to run it when the car engine is off. even if you had a seperate battery it would kill the battery after a few hours anyway if you left it on

on indicating either way the trailer light flashes once then the indicator light flashes, when the hazards are on only the trailer light flashes continuously. I believe this is correct.

Horn suddenly stopped working. When i set the alarm off the horn sounds then so i know its not the unit. Ive removed the stalk end and tried connecting the two copper contaccts but still nothing. Obviously tried the fuse. If i hold the copper contacts together and quickly move the stalk around...
