HHO...has anyone dabbled with it yet?

Oxyhydrogen is a mixture of hydrogen and oxygen gases, typically in a 2:1 atomic ratio; the same proportion as water.[2] At normal temperature and pressure, oxyhydrogen can burn when it is between about 4% and 94% hydrogen by volume,[3] with a flame temperature around 2000 °C.[4] Oxyhydrogen...

HHO...has anyone dabbled with it yet?

Ok so go on youtube and look up HHO, am not sure if its some kind of elaborate joke or not yet, but if the results are anything like as good as it looks then it has to be worth considering. I did some more research on HHO and it seems relatively true that it does work and quite a simple...

OK so its been a soggy winter and I havent had a lot of time to do much to the series 3, except rescue a drowning horse but thats a different story. BUT.... The bulkhead on the old girl is showing signs of being knackered, the passenger side vent under the windscreen, one hinge is still there...

My garage wants me to scrap my series III

It really is worth buying a welder and teaching yourself to do the work. In the long run you get a vehicle really worthy of being treated right that you know inside out, and once you can weld you can do jobs for other friends to earn some extra cash! In the process of stripping mine down and...

    radiator water loss

Apparently there is 3 ways of doing that core plug. 1 take the head off 2 take the engine out 3 cut a hole in the bulkhead repair the plug then weld a patch in place. Personally I went for the head off process and replaced the exhaust manifold at the same time.

    Cooked battery

Put a wire to positive under the bonnet and make one complete circuit then kick the front bumper. The sensor for central locking in case of accidents should pop open the central door locks. Works on vauxhalls

    overheating

Rad flush, you chuck in the top of the rad and run the engine for a few minutes, its meant to clear any blocks in pipes and radiator. The only problem with this is that it can cause leaks in the radiator fins if any are suspect anyway. Easiest thing to do would be to take off one pipe and flush...

Do these water pumps fit straight in then? from a capri or cortina. And can you swap out an alternator then to get a higher output? if so is this a ford part aswell, as I think the batteries dying on my series III and would like to be able to use some spots on the front and back (worklight...

So What is it with Series landies

So it seems that to put a smile on your face, drive a series 111. If you need a vehicle to do 100's of miles every day,=cheap euro or jap crap. But if you want a vehicle to out live you and something to pass onto the kids eventually, I mean lets face it I would rather die in the drivers seat...

So What is it with Series landies

Only 2 lanes!! And althoughI use it everyday I wouldn't be without her now. The wifes euro crap does fine for the rescue drive to the parts shop. But to use anything else dosen't seem sensible any more. Fink I've been bitten, by a bloody great bug called INFECTIOUS LANDINESS.
