Yeah, both brake lights fail at the same time. The wiring is the same on the td as the 200tdi, I'm fairly confident about that. I will be hunting down the cause of the problem today. Thank you all for your help.

Just push over to the left to engage. It is possible to do it whilst moving but I think (don't quote me on this) it is better to do it stationary, as in before you go to do something you might get stuck in.

Diff lock is put on by pushing small stick to the left. Make sure you push it right over or it will just go into a sort of neutral position. It's there to lock the centre diff to allow for 50% power to front wheels and 50% to the rear.

Evening all, Bit confused by this one. I have a 2.5td 1988 90 which I have intermittent brake light problem with. Either with side lights on or off the brake lights are still intermittent. Would this be caused by a bad earth? Any help will be much appreciated. Rjw90

My neighbours had there caravan stolen the other week and they had two vehicles turn up and drive off. One of them I think was a white vehicle. Police have been contacted etc, but appears to be a genuine threat in the area.

Wipers do work separately from the wash even though it's on the same stalk.
