Does anyone know if can "up" the power on a 300tdi. All the adverts I have seen for remaps and chips upgrades are for TD5s and more modern cars.

I see some of you have been to Whaddon recently. How was it? My mate went a few years ago he said they nearly lost one of their motors in a hole it was so wet and difficult. Thinking about giving it a go before I sell my hybrid. Tom.

I hadn't noticed before but my diff lock on my 300tdi won't budge. It has probably never been used. Does anyone know an easy(ish) way to free it ?

I'm not convinced my disco is a 300tdi. Does anyone know what the main differences in appearance are?

I haven't tried Redex yet but my disco seems very slow. I have always had V8 Discoverys before so never really knew much about diesels. Its slow pulling away too. If I keep my foot right down on the kickdown it goes ok but I always thought 300tdis were a bit quicker?

I've got a 300Tdi disco and it stuggles starting. I have to give it plenty of throttle to get it to go. I don't think its the glow plugs as it does it even when the engine's hot. Could it be fuel running back?

I take it everyone still has the hump with me? I do own a Land Rover really (even though you didn't believe me!). We thought it would be funny to come on and wind some of you up - which it was - but we didn't want to upset anyone. I'm selling my land rover this month anyway. Tom.

I have to admit it was quite funny - but I have never owned a Toyota! I actually own a 1972 Rangerover V8 hybrid ! We just thought it would be funny to see how much we could wind you all up! - it worked! :eek:

Hi, I am new to all this, but can anyone tell me why a Land Rover costs at least £18,000 and they still can't put a straight panel on them?
