    defender 110 seats?? in back

Lap belts maybe legal but still quite dangerous sideways. But as for if it is better or worse than no belts is open to discussion. Personally, i intend to as i have a disabled sister. Need a belt to keep her in the seat.

    defender 110 seats?? in back

If you are going to be using it for mod stuff and personal use you should really have a work based insurance policy. But yes they will need to know. As for do you require seats? I've ridden without. It is mega uncomfortable even just for half hour.

    300 tdi smoking conundrum!

Bores are well within tollerenses and well run in. Can still see factory marks on all the parts. Did find oil pooled in the turbo today. I assume it is meant to drain.

    300 tdi smoking conundrum!

I have an interesting problem for you all to try and solve. Normal cruze is no trouble, very clean. But, if doing clutch breaking, or allowing to tick over smoke rapidly builds. Then when pulling away or reving it chucks out a large cloud of blue tinted smoke. However, piston rings and a...

removal of prop saft to save cv joint?

as above, would that work? i know its the cv joint, classic clicking under tight turning, mostly when under power though i have a few journeys to do before the parts arrive and i want to make sure i dont knacker anything else doing the trips. would be fine if it wasnt my only car :doh...

    Defender as a daily...

i have a 110 i use every day, well, every day i need to leave the house and its great, but i would say, estimate how much then add about 1k to ensure you can fix anything you need to later and buy tires, as they can be expencive fuel is the main killer and fuel cost has doubled but insurance...

Do I buy a Landy or not?!

You still get a proof that you haven't claimed. Plus your evedence for no claims should be enough. Also, pickups, footman won't insure young drivers on.

Do I buy a Landy or not?!

I had a 306 for a year. Was ok, but now very pleased to own a 110 defender. But I am having a brill time driving it. One thing mind, kills me on fuel at the moment due to low gear ratios in original transfer box. And you can't be a boy racer, don't even try. Think you got to ask yourself is...
