    Hi All

    Just a quick hello to the group from sunny Gatwickish. I have a Freelander 1 with issues, but i got it cheap with a head gasket gone, but with some hard work and a few new spanners the engine now runs as sweet as a nut!!:D But it seems like everyone hates the 1.8 petrol!!! lol Paul

    Is propshaft removal a.......

    ....fuel saving fact or is it just a way of hiding the fact that the transfer box is shagged??? Also how do you tell if the transfer box is shagged if the propshaft has been removed? Thanks:) Paul
