i was outside "tinkering" with the engine on my 88 ,it has a weber carb and it starts fine,ticks over brill and all is well but there is a slight "spitting" noise from the carb when i hold the throttle open any ideas ?

hi they are in the back as you look at it from the rear ,i have looked at a few and some are bolted on but mines a normal weld .

hi my poor old land rover has developed 2 small holes on the back axel ,on the diff housing ? i think ,the big round bit in the middle lol how easy is it to replace the axel ? or can i bodge it ? dont really want to take the second choise as its like paper in some places ,other than that...

hi i was wondering if it was possible to take off the 88 back and replace it with a 109 safari back , what i need is convert it into a 4 seater with proper back seats any ideas people other than the obvious of getting a 109 safari ? thanks

hi i had the same prob and adjusted the fuel mix ,it was running a little rich and is now fine. and its the easiest to "put back" if it dont do the job but mark the origainal setting first so you can put it back there if you need to and turn the screw as your looking at in in a clockwise...
