Hi, Just to close of this thread, here are some photos from the clutch. The release bearing was completely busted, and it looks like it was grinding against the clutch diaphram spring.

I recorded a Youtube of the noise. It is the slightly higher pitched screetching noise you will hear. It appears loudest in the vacinity of the water pump. If I replace the pump, is this likely to go away? I hear this after starting the engine from cold, later it goes away. Is there anything...

I seem to have the same issue.

It sounds like you may be using the kit for an older defender with drum brakes at the back (which has two oil seals)? I see that kit includes the two nuts and lock washer... but I have disc brakes at the back so only one oil seal in the rear part of the hub.
