No I specifically wanted the same upward travel too or I would have reworked the mount, I checked it without springs and it hits the bumpstop before the shock bottoms. The kit above will allow a defender with larger than normal tyres to still retain the original travel, I only run either...

I just fitted plus5 shocks, Tf rear shock mounts and gwyn Lewis trailing arms, loads of droop and standard height springs. Also left the bump stops standard too.

A stone hit my rad last weekend and now there's a small hole, tried soldering it up but it's not sticking and I'm a little worried about melting stuff while I'm doing it. Any other ideas? Would of tried brazing it but the blowtorch won't melt my rod. It's an old v8 90 rad, copper I think. Cheers...

Hi does anyone know what the part number is for the above? I've looked on the Paddocks site but they don't list downpipes for the 3.9 just the 3.5 which is part number esr225, I was under the impression the 3.5 were a different diameter? Cheers mike

So has anyone fitted a hurricane cam? I'm finally getting round to getting this cam and after phoning up real steel they recommend the hurricane cam saying it'll increase torque. I did ask about a 3.9 cam but they don't do them?! So will I be ok with a hurricane, last thing I want to do is buy...

Ok so I ended up tapping it out to m10, guess what the problem is now? Yep, there's no room for a socket on the nut! Haha. So any ideas? I could really do with a m8-m10 stud but can't find any on google. Hopefully someone will save the day :)

Hi people, I'm just replacing the studs on my manifold. Some nob had put threaded bar in! Anyway ones pulled the thread out, ones snapped in and ones ok. So question is what do I replace them with? Surely m10 is ott, any suggestions much appreciated. Cheers mike
