hi all this is my first landy with a 200tdi engine so i have nothing and no one else to compare figures with. i get about 250 miles aprox to a full tank of fuel. i havent been offroad yet just crusing about 55mph on main roads so i havent realy loaded up the engine yet. is this the right amount...

I am Planing of fitting a lift kit to my defender but i see there are alot of other items aswell ie caster correction bla bla. would anyone like to let me know where to start and how to go about it, av tryed googling it but not alot of luck.

Hi all i was wondering after a general inspection of the underside of my defender 90 tonight i have noticed thats the link that goes on the drop link on the steering box, across to the n/s wheel has a slight bend in it. Is this to acomodate for lock to lock movement around streering components...

So they are a longterm advantage, spot on i will get a kit and all bolts ordered right away. ok am not the greatest with a computer just the basics, but i do try my best. i've only just found your section on fitting parts its a really big help, must take a fair time to comprise all of that well...

Poly bushes, whats everybodys opinion. planning on fitting a whole kit whats the diffrance between standered bushes.

Am I right in saying that you can shim up the front swivel's on a defender axel. I see that all the service kits contain shims, is this slightly like A series mini where you can take the lift away from the front ball joint. How easy are the swivel's to remove, inspect and replace

well am not worried what it is all aye know that since av had the thing av done nothing but play around a local forestry and a quary and its great fun, dont want to have to sort it no time ad rather play with it untill it doesnt work then fix it

thanks folks can you recomend tyre press the tyres are insa turbo specail track 235 75 16 (on moduler rims??????) all rotations are corect for each wheel. i did also think of buying some tyres more suited for road use to use on the road i plan on doing up the landy a wee bit and gona try do some...
