if you read your owners handbook you will see that the rr is ment to hold in gears on start up to bring the engine up to temperature as soon as pos! hope this helps

didnt rechange fluid yet.im just out from hosp and would be workn in out in the snow. will drop atf as soon as i can.

thanks for reply. so by useing bellhouseing and bits from my old box i can make any hp22 box fit my p38? prity skint at the mo and that would make such difrence in the price.

iv been doing a bit of searching and the zf 4hp22 was fitted to volvo jag bmw and the rr.

is the td5 autobox the same as the dse autobox? what other models use the same box as the dse?im looking for a secondhand autobox for my 98 dse if anyone knows were i can pick one up in ireland. im in the sligo area.thanks

can the cluch go that quick? was fine the day b4. wouldnt there be some slip in 2nd? very bad in 3rd. is cluch in autobox much harder to change than manual? manual i can do. autos im lost! thanks

hi thanks for that. the max speed 35mph comes up as soon as i put the key in! b4 she moves. there are no faults popn up on the dash. could there still be faults if she was pluged into? im in ireland now so not that ez to get her pluged in.
