Ahh sorry I thought the reel bit was the pre tensioner, what a ding bat. The belt has come all the way out but won't reel back in, the cylinder bit will spin with a bit of resistance but it won't wind up and it's not obvious how to remove the belt out of it either. Looks like a second hand...

My seatbelt won't retract at all, seen a few fixes for other cars taking the belt out and winding it up again but just can't see how it can be done on this one or am I missing somethig? Its not that it's jammed it's as if the spring needs re-winding. Cheers.

Cheers, I went with the cheap one, times are hard at the moment, only picked the Disco up yesterday and was hoping I wouldn't need to spend anything on it for at least a few months. The oil dripping out of the drum looks like pond water so I think it needs doing asap. Both diffs are leaking...

Car I have is a Disco 1 300tdi 1997 I have oil dripping out of my handbrake drum so from what I've read I need a new transfer box output seal. A few guides mention a felt washer but I can't find one to buy anywhere, just the seal. Is this definitely the right one...

Nevermind chap got back to be hes had a quote for £650 for all the work that needs doing.

Anyone know a rough price on replacement of 4 body mounts and 2 sills for a disco 1 300tdi? Just want to work out wether it's worth swapping my car for one which needs the above work doing. Cheers.
