just done this myself they do come apart i was after the little black piece in the middle to change air direction and brought one off ebay but it had grey inserts so just stripped it out and made a good one out of the two. all you need is a small screwdriver prise out the vent in your truck then...

had the same with mine a connector had come off the rear window so was not demisting i found the connector in the bottom of the rear door and soldered it back on and all is working now

had this with mine took the drums off, and sprayed wd40 in around all the workings until it was running out, don't spray on the shoes wire brushed the drum and put it all back together that was a fortnight ago and have no problems since

britpart are alright but you pay for what you get if you want genuine and last longer pay abit extra if you want cheap and cheerful and not too sure how long it will last go with britpart
