    Other L405 Towing Mirrors

Hi all, Range Rover Mk IV, L405, not the Evoque or Sport; has anyone found good towing mirrors for this model please? I have purchased the Land Rover VPLVT0080 mirrors having been assured they will fit. The problem is, when towing mirrors fitted the cars own mirrors are obstructed from folding...

    Other L405 Retractable towbar

Not towed with a land rover for 20+ years only towed them! So sounds like I need to get used to squeaky balls, in the old days the bade style stabiliser used to make a heck of a noise :(

    Other L405 Retractable towbar

Thanks its a black finish not paint, as noted can't grease it. Its only three weeks old (tow bar - not car) so should be good as fa as recalls go :)

    Other L405 Retractable towbar

Its a BPW not ALKO, but same reasons, it has stabiliser friction pads, so NO grease, and no paint, just can't determine if the ball is painted or not.

Central Locking and Power Steering issue

Hi Owl, how do you replace the upper switch, I have taken the mounting to pieces and the switch is mouldered into the wiring loom of the entire unit that has the number plate lights and button for the releasing of the upper half of the tailgate. I assume you have to replace the entire unit and...
