Range Rover L322 Vouge, 2004 (54 plate) £3,250
MOT: August 30, 2019
Engine: 4.4 V8 Petrol
Mileage: 91,000 (is still the daily drive)
Service History: Full
Colour: Blue
Additions: Blue Ox A Frame Base Plate
Location: Near Grantham
The car has just passed the MOT first time thus the MOT expiry of August 30, 2019. One minor advisory, a small oil leak between the engine and the transfer case.
This is tidy car with good condition cream leather interior and blue carpets.
Replacement engine fitted by Hunters Land Rover (Derby) circa 50k miles in 2011/12 under Land Rover warranty.
The rear lights have been upgraded to the Supercharged units.
The front and side grills have been upgraded to pseudo Supercharged style.
The four alloy road wheels have been upgraded to a style offered on 2009 models and are fitted with excellent tread depth Pirelli Scorpion Tyres. The spare is the original alloy with an excellent tread depth Pirelli Scorpion Tyre.
Last year a new LCM (Light Control Module) fitted as the original went haywire.
The car was also used as a tow car behind a motorhome and has the correct Blue Ox A Frame Base Plate fitted, and will be supplied with the Blue Ox A Frame & Brake Buddy (electrically there is 7 pin socket fitted to the front and wiring laid in the rear, it was disconnected when diagnosing the LCM failure, which was not the cause and requires re connecting).
Last year fitted a new driver’s door handle to lock release cable.
As with any car of this age she has her problems:
NSR wing requires attention due to rust at the wheel arch, both rear inner arches (where the doors shut) require attention due to rust, none of which created an advisory in the MOT.
Otherwise looks super, as to be expected there are a few stone chips and minor scratches.
The A/C requires checking and recharge.
The central locking (excluding the driver’s door) intermittently fails to unlock, starting/stopping the engine, and then relocking clears the issue.
The power steering goes heavy intermittently, starting/stopping the engine, and then relocking clears the issue, always happens at the same time as the central locking issue.
Rear Parking sensors working with an intermittent error, front sensors all good.
Drivers side door mirror powder coating coming off.
All four door handles require attention to the painted finish.
Exhaust rear box baffle knocking after a run.
