I am going to get my TD5 Disco re-mapped soon and can't decide weather I should put a bigger intercooler on as well. I want my disco to be more fuel efficient and have more torque. I am not that bothered about flat out power, so do I really need an intercooler????

After reading all the threads about making my TD5 run better, I have taken the cat off and the center silencer out of my exhaust. It now revs better and seems to pull well, the only problem now is it sounds like a rally car! I think I will have to put the silencer back on. Am I going to notice...
