Found this post today from over 4 years ago, well the old girl is still going strong, passed every mot except the last one where a sill was needed on near side. 30000 miles, an alternator and a decat exhaust is only expense. Took side steps off recently as they rotted away. Still loving it lol

Hello, thanks for the comments! As requested a few pics... The arch was from Paddocks, and my best mate welded it in for a few beers. The Anderson connector and lead I 'cough cough aquired from work cough cough' (HGV 1 driver) but they are avilable off eBay too. Now have the jump leads...

Quick update, had the arch done and painted by a mate, all underside steamed and waxoiled black, 9 inch spots fitted on front (straight to bumper), and today, IT PASSED ITS MOT!!! :pop2: Got one advise on slight wear on rear wheel bearing near side, but otherwise all good! Well happy, well...

4 clips per net is fine, they are plastic carpet ones, quite a course thread that you just screw into carpet, takes 2 mins to fit. :)

Sound odd, but, go to your local BMW dealer, ask for parcel net for a Z3. They are £11 + vat, + 20p each for the carpet clips, but you could use p clips and self tappers. The large one on the rear floor is out of a Renault HGV1 artic! I drive as a living and sort of cough cough aquired it...

All solid! My MOT man looked at it last week, its mint underneath, never been off road. I go the log book back and wrote to the 1 previous owner, its been garaged when not in use, never seen mud, hence the condition. It cost £1600.:)
