Some new pics of my 300tdi....

Thanks lads, glad i've given you some ideas.
However there are reasons i don't wash the bodywork and not just that it looks cool!
Rust wise it is good, took half a day to sort all the rust out, biggest bit was a 6x4 inch section on the osf inner arch. Rest was more nipping it in the bud before it became a problem.
But outside paintwork is truely terrible, at least half the lacker is missing, dents and loads of scratches. Also its had a roof repair a few years ago and it wasn't done well.
But hopefully some fibreglass and a matt black respray should make it a bit more presentable.

Nice work. Seems a shame to start chopping lumps out of it.

Not a great picture, but can just about make out my home made effort of a snorkel.



Cut the wing with a hacksaw and lined the edge with plastic tube. Getto but cheap lol.

Pretty easy really, 200tdi airbox, flexi pipe, drain pipe, 2 45 angle ends and a sh1te load of tiger seal!

Found this post today from over 4 years ago, well the old girl is still going strong, passed every mot except the last one where a sill was needed on near side. 30000 miles, an alternator and a decat exhaust is only expense. Took side steps off recently as they rotted away. Still loving it lol

Cut down front bumper and no mudflaps now, and the drives been done lol

She is still looking smart.
