Thanks for the reply! Yeah I might try the relay first. I'm presuming it will be under the dash behind the fuse box, similar area to the indicator relay.? Can t seem to find many new wiper stalks. Plenty of indicator stalks as it had one of the last year just no wiper stalks really.

As title really. It's a 200tdi. Wipers work fine on the contstan settings fast and slower. Am I right in thinking it's the stalk? Or is it a relay somewhere. I've done a search and couldn't find anything.

Has anyone ever changed the core plug on the back of the head without taking the head off? Mines decided to start leaking and only changed the head gasket last year so wanted to avoid taking the head off again. Heard it's possible like just a bit tight. Maybe if I lower the engine may give me...

All sorted. Got it on my mates lift the other day changed master cylinder and gave full system a good bleed. Brakes are now the best they have ever been. Happy days

It Is a non abs model yes. And regarding the front calipers they are the twin hose type so therefore ha e the 3 bleed nipples. I think it is bottom 2 together then the top one on its own.

I had a similar problem abit ago. Did you let all the fluid drain out of the master cylinder?. bleeding the clutch master cylinder. As I had air in mine.

No mate they stayed on as I have to seen this happen

Maybe mate as there was abit of crap that came out of the bleed nipple so may have damaged the seals in the master cylinder

it is possible although it was doing it before I put the pressure bleeder on. Bled it by hand first

yes mate I even tryed bleeding it from the master cylinder itself. No signs of air anywhere in the system but aftwr doing that the brakes did improve ever so slightly. So maybe it is a master cylinder fault....

After fitting all 5 stainless hoses to the disco it seems the brake pedal is very poor now, was fine up until doing the last 2 front flexis. The brakes were working well beforehand no issues at all. There is no leaks in the system and I have had the pressure bleeder on it the whole works so...

that part screws onto the top of the transmission tunnel. I need the gator which bolts onto the top of the gearbox right where the stick goes in.

Getting closer lol. It sits under that bit but attaches to the top of the gearbox

I am after the little rubber that keeps the dirt etc out of where the gearstick goes into the top of the gearbox as mine seems to have gone. Does anyone know where I can buy these? Thanks

I am after the name of the part which goes between the rocker arms and the top of the valve under the rocker cover. As one of mine I noticed is damaged, it's like a thrust pad a round shape. And does anyone know where I can get on from.

Fixed it! Within about 30 seconds of opening the bonnet. It was a split vac pipe to the actuator
