Disco 1 200tdi wiper intermittent not working

As title really. It's a 200tdi. Wipers work fine on the contstan settings fast and slower.

Am I right in thinking it's the stalk? Or is it a relay somewhere. I've done a search and couldn't find anything.

You have two options, niether are especially expensive.

1) Stalk contact has corroded, not expensive to replace and quick to do.

2) Wiper relay has gone faulty, not expensive to replace and quick to do.

I would hesitate to say it was the actual motor contacts, as far as I am aware the motor is merely controlled via the relay but I am happy to be proved wrong.

Yeah I might try the relay first. I'm presuming it will be under the dash behind the fuse box, similar area to the indicator relay.?

Can t seem to find many new wiper stalks. Plenty of indicator stalks as it had one of the last year just no wiper stalks really.

I'm pretty sure that the wiper relay is in the foot well behind the kick panel on the drivers side (OK might be passenger side as mine is LHD so could well be different!) It is unmistakable though as it says what it is and is quite big and unlike any of the other relays.
