just replaced seal in my rear hub (drum brakes) and it still leaks. Took special care to replace new seal right way round but it is not exactly obvious which is the correct way to fit. Any other reason why it should leak?? I have now replaced seal 3 times:confused:

Just relpaced my rear hub seal on defender 90 K plate. After replacing wheel drum very hot after afew miles brakes have been fine and this problem as only occured after removing and replacing hub ?? I am not a qualified machanic but keen to service my landy. Any help appreciated

Just replaced lift pump with new one. Very slight oil leak dripping from around or under lift pump after a few weeks of driving. Re fitted with another new gasket and and sealant but still dripping. Jet washed engine to remove all oil traces in order to find exactly where leak is. Slight drip...

Hello Just changed my oil and fitted new oil filter. I now have a few drips of oil running down the filter. I tightened the filter as tight as I could by hand. Is this enough? Should I tighten more with grips? Any advice appreciated cheers DC
